Org settings: File groups
Overview: Learn how to use file groups on Page to filter your views and features by specific groups of file types.
What Are File Groups?
- File groups are a tool on Page that allows you to filter the various views and features inside a client across specific groups of file types.
- When you apply a file group, it takes a selection of file types and applies them automatically so you can see one specific slice of the client history in one easy view. For example, applying "Medical evidence" would include file types like C&P exams, CAPRI, and STRs.
- File groups can be applied within a specific client across the following views:
- Files view
- Conditions view
- Timeline view
- Search view
Default File Groups
- Page includes several default file groups:
- Decision history
- Medical evidence
- Military history
- Procedural history
- These defaults are fully editable.
Editing a File Group
- Click the pencil icon on a file group to modify it.
- You can adjust the selected list, which are the files currently included in the file group filter.
- You can also add new file types from the selectable list.
Creating a New File Group
- Click the "New file group" button in the lower right-hand corner.
- From there, you can create a custom file group. For example, some users have created file groups for things like a 3.156(b) argument.
Deleting a File Group
- You can also delete file groups you no longer need.
Important: Organization-Level Management
- File groups are managed at an organization level. Any changes made by one user will affect the entire organization.
