Org settings: File Type by Color
Overview: Learn how to use color-coded file types on Page to visually identify different file categories in your timeline and condition summary.
What Is File Type by Color?
- File type by color refers to the color bars that appear on the left side of entries in your timeline and condition summary.
- When you hover over a color bar, it will show you the category it represents, such as C&P exams, STRs, procedural documents, and more.
Customizing File Type by Color
- Click the settings button in the left sidebar, then select "Customize file type by color."
- From there, you can:
- Customize the color of each grouping
- Modify which file types are included in each grouping, such as lay evidence, procedural documents, and others
- Page includes a set of defaults, but you can change them to fit your needs.
Creating a New Color-Coded File Group
- You can also create a new color-coded file group if the defaults don't cover what you need.
Organization-Level Management
- These settings are managed at an organization level, so any changes made by one user will affect the entire organization.
Toggling Off Color Bars
- If you don't find the color bars useful, you can toggle them off at an individual level.
