Org settings: Case plan

Overview: Learn how to use Case Plan on Page to organize key details, actions, and evidence at both the client level and issue level.

What Is Case Plan?

  • Case Plan is a tool that allows your firm to organize all the information that's relevant at both a client level and issue level in Page, so all your key notes and actions relating to each issue are in one place.
  • On top of that, you can aggregate all the evidence in your plan.

Customizing Case Plan Fields

  • Case Plan is fully customizable.
  • To customize, go into your Case Plan, navigate to the client view, click settings, and then click "Organization settings" in the popover.
  • You will see all the fields available to you. Page includes a set of defaults, but you can modify them or reset them completely.
  • Available field types include:
    • Text (short or long — long is more of a paragraph format)
    • Date
    • Tasks, which can be used to track tasks, assign them to people, assign a due date, and more
    • Checklist, which is a simple checklist
    • Client info, which pulls information from your client tab, such as MOS, foreign service, marital status, and more
    • Dropdown, which can be multi-select or single-select, and can be used for things like attorney sign-off or general status

Client-Level and Issue-Level Templates

  • Case Plan is designed to aggregate evidence at both a client level and an issue level.
  • You can have a different template for client fields and issue fields. You can have multiple issue level templates as well as group templates. All are customizable.

Deleting a Field

  • If you delete a field in Case Plan, it will not delete that information from every existing Case Plan. The existing fields and their information will persist. The deleted field simply won't appear on any new Case Plans going forward.

Organization-Level Management

  • This setting is managed at an organization level. Any change made will affect all other members.
  • We recommend that only one or two people within your firm manage these settings.
