Conditions - Table View

Overview: Learn how the table view works in the Conditions tab on Page, including its four sections and what information is displayed for each condition.

Table View

• The default view when you click on a condition is the table view. It is organized into four sections:
  • Procedural History
  • Filings
  • Medical Evidence
  • Other Evidence

Procedural History

• The first item in Procedural History is the claim status — Page's calculation of whether the claim is open, pending, or closed. By default, this is flagged as "Need review." You can edit it and mark it as reviewed.
• Page will also show the original claim and any applicable Intent to Files. If there are multiple, you will be given the choice to select your preferred document.
• Under this section you will see:
  • The First Decision
  • Any subsequent Decisions
  • The latest Codesheet as well as older Codesheets
  • VA Form 21-8940

Filings

• All filings relevant to the condition are displayed, including:
  • Initial claims
  • Supplemental claims
  • VA Form 21-526b (request for higher-level review)
  • Request for HLR
  • BVA Disagreement Notices
  • Disagreement Notice(s)
  • VA Form 9 / Substantive Appeal(s)
  • Statement(s) in Support of Claim

Medical Evidence

• Medical evidence includes:
  • C&P exams relevant to the condition, including both old-form VA examinations and C&P exams
  • VA medical opinions and addendums
  • In-service medical records (such as STRs)
  • Post-service medical records (such as CAPRIs)
• Note: the medical sections do not necessarily include adjacent symptomatology or medications. We recommend using Ask Page to dig deeper if needed.

Other Evidence

• Other evidence includes any favorable findings, lay statements, and other documents where the condition is explicitly mentioned, such as:
  • Military personnel records
  • Notification letters
  • Correspondence
  • Exam requests
• Anywhere the condition is explicitly mentioned will be included in the table view.
