Conditions - Missing Hints and Suggested Fields

Overview: Learn about the hints and suggested flags that Page surfaces in the Conditions tab to make sure nothing in your client's case is missed.

Hints and suggested dics in the Conditions Tab

• Page surfaces hints and flags in both the table view and chronological view to ensure you have complete visibility into your client's case. There are three types you may see:

Potentially Applicable Intent to File

• Page may surface an intent to file that could apply to the condition. When you see one, you can choose whether to apply it.

Potentially Relevant C&P Exams

• Page may flag C&P exams or DBQ exams that were not identified as directly relevant to the condition but could still apply. This is a fallback for the rare case where the system may miss something. When you see one, review it and decide whether to include it in the condition.

Missing File Hints

• Page tracks the VA's expected procedural sequence. If a document is expected but not found — for example, a VA Form 9 between an SOC and an SSOC — Page will flag it as missing.
• Page will also surface documents that could fill the gap, such as other VA Form 9s in the file or documents the VA may have mislabeled. Review the suggestions and determine if any apply.
