Notes - Overview

Overview: Notes let you track your thoughts on a case as it evolves over time. You can create them from almost anywhere in Page, and they're visible to everyone in your organization.

Where You Can Create Notes

  • You can create notes from the Client's Timeline, Conditions view, Client Overview, AskPage, and the PDF viewer.
  • In the PDF viewer, you can highlight a specific area of text (including handwriting) and Page will transcribe it into the note automatically. You can also take a note on a specific page range, or on the entire document.
  • In AskPage, a note captures both the question you asked and the answer, so you keep that context together.

What You Can Add to a Note

  • Source: You can change the source, though it's best to leave it as is if the note comes from a source you were already reviewing.
  • Conditions: If you create a note while viewing a specific condition, that condition is applied automatically. You can also manually associate a note with any condition or combination of conditions.
  • Tags: You can create and manage your own set of tags (for example, to flag information that should go to a medical provider). You can edit tags and manage your tag list directly from the note.
  • Case plan: You can add a note to a specific issue in your case plan while creating it, so the note carries over to that issue.

Viewing Notes

  • Your notepad is accessible from the top bar at all times. Click "Open notepad" to view it in the right rail, or pop it out into a separate window if you want to keep it visible on its own screen. Closing the popped-out window returns the notepad to the right rail.
  • Each note shows who created it and when.
  • Notes also appear inline. A small note icon shows next to the entry, near the confidence rating. Toggle on "Show inline notes" to expand them.
  • If you're viewing notes through the lens of a condition, the note count updates to reflect only that condition. A breadcrumb shows which condition you're filtered to (for example, "migraine and tension headaches"). Click back on the breadcrumb to return to all notes.
  • You can export your notes, either with filters applied or as your full set of notes.

Editing and Deleting Notes

  • If a note is yours, you can edit or delete it using the three-dot menu on the note. When editing, you can modify the text, sources, and associated conditions.
  • Notes created by other people in your organization are read-only.
