Files View
Overview: Learn how to use the Files view on Page to manage, view, and organize all the files uploaded to your client.
What Is the Files View?
- The Files view is the home for all files uploaded to Page. It is also a fast and useful jumping-off point to the PDF viewer.
File Information
- When you upload files from the C-file, Page strips out the information from the underlying files and shows you:
- File ID
- File type
- Received date
- Uploaded date
- File size
- Status (summarized, needing attention, etc.)
Managing Files
- For each file, you can:
- Edit the conditions associated with the file
- Change the file type
- Change the received date (useful if the VA misclassifies something)
- Add the file to a specific Case Plan
- Share a link to the file
- Download the individual file
- Delete the file
Viewing Files
- Click on any file to open it in the PDF viewer.
- Hold Shift and press down to quickly toggle between individual files, allowing you to read through PDFs without clicking each one separately.
Settings
- Under settings, you can show notes inline if you have them.
- You can also export File Collections, which is covered in a separate guide.
Filtering and Searching
- Filter by File Groups, file types, or upload date.
- Search by file type or file ID for quick lookup.
Grouped and Ungrouped Views
- Ungrouped is the default view and shows all files in one list.
- Grouped view applies when there are unsummarized files or files needing attention, and groups them together. You can toggle back to ungrouped at any time.
Uploading and Updating
- The Files view is also where you upload new files and update your summaries.
