Additional Functionality - Sharing clients with external users
Overview: Learn how to share clients on Page with external experts and collaborating lawyers outside your firm.
Sharing a Client
- To share a client, click the share icon (which looks like a sideways V) in the upper right-hand corner of your client page.
- Enter your external expert's email, what type of expert they are, and a message.
- When you click "Continue," you'll be able to set how long they'll have access to the client before you revoke it.
- After setting the access duration, you'll be asked to confirm before the client is shared.
What Happens After You Share
- The person you shared with will receive an email saying a client on Page has been shared with them.
- If they have previously signed up for Page, they can view the client under the "Shared with me" tab in their clients view.
- If they have not signed up for Page, they will be prompted to create a Page organization and then go from there.
What External Users Can and Cannot See
- External users will be able to access everything you can see within the client, including your notes.
- They will not be able to see Ask Page or any of your Ask Page queries.
Other Uses
- This functionality can also be used to share clients with lawyers outside your firm who are collaborating on the case.
- We do not recommend sharing Page clients with the veteran themselves, as it can be overwhelming.
